It is legitimate that over the past few years, Real Estate has been front and centre in the news related to the economy due to the sub-prime mortgage crisis. While the market has slowed due to the slowed economy, the housing market is not nearly as bad as the media has portrayed it to be. As buyers, you have a great opportunity that you haven't had in years. There is a huge amount of product on the market right now. The market has slowed, but due to limited cash flow, consumers have decided that they want to cash in now. So please don't pay so much attention to the media and ask your local realtor what your options are.
